School of Public Service

The School of Public Service is one of the best places to prepare for a service-oriented career in criminal justice and security administration. To meet the needs of working adults and busy students, the School offers a convenient 36-credit Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice during the evenings and weekends.

The School’s outstanding faculty members are dedicated to educating students through a curriculum that incorporates the most progressive ideas in the field. Classes are also taught by adjunct professors who have local and international experience. They range from police officers and commissioners to lawyers and judges.

Students in our program come from a variety of backgrounds. Some are career changers, others are already working in the field and looking to broaden their skills.

Graduates of our programs are well prepared for a career in probation, parole, law enforcement, court administration, corrections, juvenile justice, diversionary programs, security management, social service, research, alternatives-to-incarceration agencies and other fields of study.
